This is another of my very favourite images from the book. It was done in the style of Francois Boucher’s 1759 painting of the brilliant Madame de Pompadour (Jeanne Antoinette Poisson).

My dream is nothing more than being able to provide the BEST life I can for my daughter. In order to do that, I need a good career in my life. I’ve already put myself through a college course and became a Certified Wedding Planner. It was paid for with my own money out of pocket, all while juggling life and my princess. Now that I would like to further my education, I find money to always be an issue. My job is nice, but my whole paycheck week-to-week goes straight to bills and caring for myself and my daughter. The school I’m passionate about attending is an Online College where I took my previous course, and where I’ll be getting my Business Management Associates Degree. Only problem is they don’t accept Financial Aid. And getting grants/scholarships for ANYTHING is proving to be very difficult since the school is not considered a “full time” college.
I’m not one to ask people for money, as it makes me feel embarrassed that I can’t do things for myself, or that I’m taking away from them as well. But for whatever donations I get, if any at all, I’ll be SO thankful not only for the money, but for being blessed with such amazing people who are willing to help me in a way I could never thank them enough for. I know this is a lot to ask, but I’ll be gaining so much more out of it.
I don’t want anyone in any way to think I can’t provide for myself or my family, but schooling is expensive, especially when financial aid, grants and scholarships aren’t an option. I’m doing this for myself, but it will be benefitting the most important people around me. So, thank you for supporting my education and in turn helping me provide the best for my family and for myself.
